Nico Nava, MBA, MS, PMP

Nico Nava is a creative project manager with background in professional events and media production, business development, public relations, brand management, and photography. He has a taste for clean, simple and elegant aesthetics. In the past years, he has focused on large scale events, benefits, and branding projects. He is based in Los Angeles, California, currently residing in Boston, Massachusetts. As a first-generation immigrant, he always aims high and finding projects that allows him to use his creative side, strategic mindset, and educational background. “Challenge accepted” as Nava would imply when being presented with a project.

Starting his works in 2006, Nava picked up interest in creating images by photographing moments of his friends in high school. He then progressed to events coordinating for social and corporate events. Following this transition, he expanded his works in editorial shoots, events coordinating, public relations and worked on projects within the fashion and entertainment industry. He has worked and participated in several projects with several large and small organizations, and companies including: GLAAD, Christopher Street West LA Pride, Sheraton, CBS Studios, Miss Supranational USA, Golden Globes, and many more.

Nico is a certified project management professional (PMP), a Master in Business Administration (MBA) graduate of 2022, and MS in Project Management in 2019 from Northeastern University. For his undergrad, he has a degree of BA in Communication, concentration in Public Relations from CalState LA. He, and his brother are the first in their family to earn college degrees.

He is inspired by the works of critically acclaimed and renowned photographers such as Dorothea Lange, Diane Arbus, Vivian Maier, and Gregory Colbert. 

He dreams of one day having two adorable Welsh Corgis.
